Dream Time Hotel

We arrived after 2 PM with a reasonably priced reservation made through the Obilet app, and the hotel said it was invalid because of our arrival time. That restriction had never been mentioned when we booked or afterward, so it felt like an excuse and a refusal to honor the deal. It disrupted our holiday plans and caused a lot of hassle. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Parking was the main drawback. The hotel only has room for five cars, so if those spaces are full you have to look for a spot on nearby streets. Otherwise we found it clean and cute, with a great location, cooperative staff who were always smiling, and a tasty, satisfactory breakfast. We plan to come back.

The staff were friendly and really helpful. There was water in the air-conditioned lobby, which made the heat easier to manage, and tea and coffee were available in the comfortable outdoor seating area. Our room was lovely and spacious.

At £65 a night, this felt like a complete waste of money, and I wouldn't recommend it. I was put in room 301, on the third and warmest floor, where the air conditioning didn't work and water was scarce. The place looked very dirty from the moment I arrived: stains on the carpet and walls, a filthy bathroom, barely any shower water, and a blocked drain. When I requested room service after a few days, they only straightened things up. The sheets and towels were folded and put back, and the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned. The free internet didn't work, and there was no water in the bedroom or lounge to buy. I was worried about the poor hygiene and dirt, and told my children not to touch anything. It was an old, smelly, disgusting place with a cigarette and tobacco smell.
