Kartal Hotel

The location is great, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great, and there’s plenty of parking right in front of the building. The doors could use better insulation against noise, but it wasn’t a big inconvenience. Thanks for everything!

The balcony was a real plus for me. I could hang wet clothes there, and they dried quickly, while the room also had a good fridge, air conditioning, a nice bathroom, and enough space. The rooms aren't cleaned every day, so towels aren't replaced daily, but you can just ask for fresh ones. I don't think daily towel washing is necessary anyway. The Wi-Fi worked well, and there was a table and chair for using my laptop. Kartal hotel has a friendly, family-run feel, and I felt safe with the lovely people there. The staff were welcoming, and the location is handy, close to the beach and surrounded by good restaurants. Breakfast was included for the price, though it was pretty basic. The outdoor seating and pool area were excellent. It's a good budget stay, though the rooms aren't luxurious. I'd happily stay again if I return, and saving money on the hotel leaves more for the local restaurants. Turkish food is fantastic.

Otel Kartal feels like a family business, and staying there made me feel like a guest among friends. It deserves more than two stars. My single room was a good size for what I needed, and everything in it worked: the mini-fridge, kettle, TV, and air conditioning. The room was very clean, and it had a small balcony. The bed was comfortable, though I would have preferred softer pillows. A couple of cups or glasses and some tea or coffee sachets for the kettle would be useful.

I found Kartal Hotel a good fit for a budget stay near Konyaaltı Beach. It's close to public transport, so getting around Antalya and nearby areas was easy, and there are restaurants and cafes nearby for anyone wanting more dining choices. The hotel's own dining area only serves a limited continental breakfast, with no hot food. The rooms and shared areas were clean and well kept, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful with local sights and transport. For its location and basic facilities, the price was good. The amenities are limited, though: there's no kettle or tea and coffee setup in the room, and it wasn't clear to me whether air conditioning was included in the room rate.
