Lale Apart Hotel

The room wasn't as described. There were no tea or coffee facilities, despite the ad, and it wasn't a city view. There was no fridge, so we were left drinking warm water. The bedding felt like sandpaper, the walls had holes, and the so-called smart TV didn't work. The bathroom wasn't great either: the shower leaked badly and the grout looked like it needed a good clean. The reception area was full of stray cats peeing and pooing everywhere, with so many flies it was unbearable. I got 9 insect bites just from being there. They refused to turn on the air conditioning in reception and said, “we're trying to save money.” The marble stairs were always wet, so you kept slipping. There's no lift, and this hotel isn't suitable for anyone with disabilities. Their outdoor terrace was basically the step by the front door. Hotels in Blackpool put this place to shame. It was so bad I wouldn't even know how to contact them for a refund.

The room is basic, but it has what you need to get by on a short stay. The people working here were fantastic and showed me so much kindness when I was having a difficult time in Turkey. The ladies at the hotel really supported me, and the man working nights kept the place very safe. I was grateful to have somewhere affordable when my budget was busted. I can't thank them enough. There's a kitty I got to cuddle and make friends with. The hotel staff love her, feed her, and look after her, which says a lot about their hearts. Don't worry, animals aren't allowed inside the hotel facilities. She's fed and cared for outside by the door. Great location, and the best. Thank you.

It was my first time in Antalya, and Seyda and the others made me feel very welcome. Seyda was so kind and helpful. Thanks to them, I'm definitely coming back.

The location was the biggest plus for us: you can walk to several places, and there are lots of good places to eat nearby. The hotel has few services, though. Internet speed was average, and you need to ask for the Wi-Fi password. Staff can speak English, which is a plus. After reading older reviews, I was a little worried, but what we experienced didn't line up with what we'd read. The hotel looked new after its renovation in June 2023. If you book through a portal, keep in mind that “free parking” means parking on the side of the road. There's no valet or designated parking. Our first-floor room was spacious. They provided two small water bottles, a kettle, and basic coffee, but with only one plug point under the TV, making coffee or charging a phone was a bit complicated. The toilets were clean, though you could tell the renovation was recent because support tape was still holding things like a mirror in the washroom.
