Lost town Inn Hotel

I came away having had a bad stay, and wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone looking for quiet or professionally handled service. The room they gave me was right by the entrance, so it was loud and uncomfortable. They first said I could move, then the next day refused without an explanation, even though quieter rooms seemed to be available. The staff were dismissive instead of helping, which made it worse. I also felt awkward watching how one staff member behaved with a Russian girl who was staying there. He was unusually attentive, invited her into his private space, and went out socially with her. Staff should keep things respectful and professional with guests on holiday; it felt inappropriate, like the place was being treated as their personal playground. The high ratings are misleading, and this spoiled part of my trip. If you need respectful service and a peaceful rest, I’d look elsewhere. I’d seen some negative comments before writing this, but during my week here I didn’t run into the problems "Abdulrahman" described. The first room had clearly been smoked in by the previous guest, so we asked to change and they moved us right away. It’s a 2 star hotel in a good spot, so expectations should be realistic. The breakfast was okay, though it’s a fixed menu. I’d have preferred a buffet so people could pick what they like, since I don’t eat most of what was offered and it could go to waste. The rooms are where I have complaints: some broken parts need repair. In the bathroom there was no shampoo or shower head, and the water pressure was very low. Even if they’re keeping it down for ecological reasons, it should be higher.

The owners are lovely and ready to help with whatever you need, and you can really feel Turkish hospitality here. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the air conditioner was great. The street stays quiet at night, but the main street is close by with everything you might need. A tasty Turkish breakfast is included. Great value for the price, 10! They also speak English and German.

Watch out for bedbugs. The hotel seems to be full of them again, and nobody appears concerned about this hygiene problem. Please stay away until it’s dealt with. The location is ideal, in a quiet, calm area where you can rest.
