The Ninova

The Old Town location made it easy to get around, with pretty much everything nearby. The municipal beach is about 15 minutes away by tram or bus. Breakfast runs from 8-10 AM and is included. It’s a decent spread of eggs, tomatoes, olives, coffee, tea, potatoes, pancakes and jam, nothing remarkable, but fine. Housekeeping comes daily, though they tend to knock around 10 AM, which is too early when I’m still in bed.

The courtyard seating was especially cozy, and the hotel stayed fairly quiet. Other parts of Antalya’s old town were much noisier because of the bars. It’s also a handy base for visiting interesting places, and the room was a good size with air conditioning that worked well. Breakfast was basic but enough. The bathroom could use another proper clean ;) I’d happily stay here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price felt like good value for a pleasant stay in Antalya’s old town. The renovated Ottoman-style mansion is lovely, with Hadrian’s Gate just a couple of minutes away on foot and the marina about ten minutes away. Restaurants and shops are close by too. My room had two single beds and was quite small. The bed was comfortable enough, though it could have been better. There was some nighttime noise from nearby clubs and pubs, which could bother light sleepers. I think that can come with staying somewhere so central. Breakfast had fewer traditional Turkish choices than expected, but there was enough.

The rooms are on the small side, but they were clean, with tidy bathrooms and beds that were comfortable enough. Breakfast is pretty basic, though having it in the little garden is nice. The public spaces have a cozy charm, decorated with antiques, traditional objects and old photos, mixed in places with newer art and portraits. The staff were friendly and helpful. I only remember Sibel’s name, but everyone was nice.
