The location near the beach is decent, and there are some nice staff members. Getting out of the hotel was the best part of staying there. The building and rooms are old and worn, and the rooms are noisy. You can constantly hear reception from your room, and colleagues with poolside rooms said their noise was even worse. Some reception staff are nice, while others seem to just stand around without doing anything. Returning at night with your spouse, you can be treated like a criminal. They assume you're bringing in a woman for sex, as if that would be so terrible. It felt more like being in prison than at a hotel. Breakfast was the most horrible part. The cook somehow made even tomatoes taste bad. You just push the food into your mouth to stay alive, with no taste at all, and it feels disgusting. If my company sends me here for work again, I'll resign. I can't spend another three weeks here. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, even though I've travelled a lot, including on a low budget.

The rooms felt dirty, stained and outdated, with uncomfortable beds. We booked two rooms, including one for my parents, but they were put in the wrong one at first. It took until the next day to move them, and the replacement still had only two separate beds. Staff said the hotel had no queen beds anywhere, which seems hard to square with its five-star claim. The online photos and facilities were misleading. The site showed a water slide, but we were told it was closed because summer was over, even though we were visiting in summer. The wristband required for all-inclusive access also wasn't mentioned on the website. It felt like a way to upsell or limit access. On checkout day, we told the hotel we'd be away for a few hours and asked them to bring our luggage down. When we returned in the afternoon, nothing had been done, so we had to carry it all ourselves. The receptionist even said she wouldn't stay there herself because the hotel was so bad. The general manager was rude and unhelpful, and most staff couldn't speak or understand English, which made everything frustrating. This was one of the most disappointing stays we've ever had. It felt more like a zero-star property than the five-star resort advertised. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We left without unpacking and booked another hotel after seeing the second room. It was even worse than the first, which was filthy and not the double room we'd requested. At first, reception told us to come back in the morning for a better room. Before taking the second key, we asked if we could get a refund if that room still wasn't acceptable, and the receptionist said yes. But when we returned to check out, she suddenly acted as if she couldn't speak English, despite speaking it very well just 20 minutes earlier. Management saw our room photos and heard our complaints about the supposed ultra all-inclusive offer, but refused to refund us. We did book a non-refundable rate, though that was based on what was advertised: a five-star, all-inclusive hotel. The pictures and ratings gave us the wrong impression. This place is nowhere near five stars. Breakfast was disgusting, and the all-inclusive drinks amounted to one beer and two soft drinks. I wouldn't stay here for free.

The private beach was lovely, but there were so few sunbeds that unless you arrived early, you'd have to sit on the ground. They only had coffee, Coke and water there. The bar closed at midnight, and ice cream was available from 4 to 6 pm, if I remember right. After that, you had to pay, despite being on an ultra all-inclusive plan. We were four people and none of us would return. For a week, the staff were grumpy and unfriendly, and not one person smiled or treated us well. Meals were repetitive and unpleasant, with very little choice. Staff took plates while we were still eating, then hurried us away from the tables after dinner. The beds were so uncomfortable that sleeping on the floor might have been better, and we all had sore backs. The pools looked green inside, like a frog pond. There was no entertainment, and the place wasn't worth the money.
