Özmen Otel

We were really pleased with our stay, which went well beyond what I'd expected. Ozmen Hotel sits right in the old town, close enough to walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants, but it was still fairly quiet at night. The staff were lovely, and breakfast on the rooftop terrace came with a breathtaking view. I'd recommend booking the breakfast option. The hotel can also arrange airport transfers at very reasonable prices.

We spent several days at Ozmen and had a great stay. Aziz, the owner and manager, was especially good, along with his two assistants, Seamus and Sulo, who also handle transport. They speak excellent English and probably other languages too.

The staff were friendly and helped us with anything we needed. We were traveling as one party but booked at different times and through different sites, and the boss still arranged rooms next door to each other. Breakfast on the roof was good, with fruit, vegetables, cold cuts, a warm omelette, chips, Turkish tea and other breakfast items. The TV was modern and well equipped, the shower stayed warm and was more than adequate, and the bed was comfortable even for someone who struggles to sleep well. The hotel was tidy and clean, and the location in Antalya's Old Town is great. There are plenty of nearby restaurants for different tastes, though I found them tourist traps. The transport station is a 10-minute walk away, but the paved streets can be a hassle with suitcases. It's a lovely boutique hotel for a few nights, though I wouldn't choose it for a stay lasting weeks. I'd happily stay again if I return to Antalya.

We chose the end of the old town because we wanted somewhere peaceful at night, and this hotel worked out really well. Nearby bars in other parts of the old town play loud music until midnight, but we had no noise from the bars or restaurants close by. It's about 100 or 200 meters from the beach and near restaurants and pubs. The family who run the hotel were very sweet, always smiling, and served breakfast with care on the rooftop, where the sea view is amazing. There was a good range of breakfast choices, and the rooms were well designed with all the facilities we needed, including a balcony. The hotel can arrange day trips to nearby tourist places and airport transfers at reasonable prices. We spent a long time looking for a hotel in Antalya's old town and didn't regret booking this one. It's not a five-star hotel, but the rooms and service are up to that standard. I'd stay here again if we return.
