The room had everything we needed and was really clean. Staff were welcoming and accommodating during our ten days there with my daughter. The pool was a good size, though cold, and the air con in the room was ice cold. I'd definitely stay again if I visit Turkey.

We booked a stay for May 13, 2025, hoping for a comfortable apartment and basic respect as paying guests. The air conditioner wasn't working, and the place smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, as if it hadn't been aired out for weeks. On arrival, we were met with raised voices and a hostile attitude that made us feel like a burden. When we calmly raised the problems, nobody apologized or tried to fix them. Instead, the response was aggressive and intimidating. This was not a language barrier or misunderstanding. We understood every word and the tone used. We felt unwelcome, as if we didn't belong. We responded by expressing pride in being Arabs and in our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). That wasn't intended as an insult, but as a dignified response to being humiliated. Being proud of our identity doesn't mean looking down on anyone. It was upsetting to be accused of racism after being provoked, and for management to blame us and make false accusations instead of addressing our complaint. We told them clearly that we'd supported Turkish tourism for years, staying in hotels, eating at restaurants, and paying full prices with satisfaction and respect. We wanted no special treatment, only to be treated respectfully as guests. The staff member who came to the apartment, Mustafa, raised his voice and blamed us rather than the broken air conditioner. There was no help, apology, or professionalism, just broken promises and hostility. In reply to the property's response, we were disappointed that it ignored the broken AC, cigarette smell, rude reception, and staff raising their voices and blaming us. It instead claimed we had never been there, which isn't true. Who gave us the keys? Who shouted when we asked about the air conditioner? Who blamed us instead of fixing the problem? The response denied responsibility and accused us of racism. We never insulted anyone or claimed to be superior. We expressed pride in following the example of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), not superiority. It is also false that we attacked Turkish tourism or Turkish people. We respect Turkish people and have had kind, hospitable experiences in many Turkish cities. What happened here reflects the management, not Turkey or its people. We are sharing this out of responsibility, not anger, in the hope that others won't have the same experience and that the review leads to better service and self-reflection instead of more blame and denial.

I booked the apartment for one night, and as soon as I arrived I messaged the hotel on WhatsApp. The living room AC was blowing hot air, while the bedroom unit worked properly. In the extreme heat, the apartment was very uncomfortable. A man named Mustafa came to the door shortly afterward. After looking at the AC for about a minute, he raised his voice, pointed at me, and said, "The problem is you, not the AC." It was rude and demeaning, as if I worked for him instead of being a paying guest. I reported it to Agoda, where I'd booked, and forwarded the WhatsApp messages. Mustafa then falsely told Agoda that I had refused to check in because I hadn't handed over my passport or my wife's. That is untrue. I've visited Turkey for more than 12 years and know hotel procedures here and elsewhere. Instead of apologizing for his disrespectful and possibly racist treatment of Arab guests, he seemed to cover it up with a lie. That evening my wife and I left to return our rental car at the airport before our flight the next morning. I planned to take a taxi back to the airport. Mustafa called and threatened that if I didn't return immediately, I'd have to pay the technician who came. I was already hurrying with the taxi driver and didn't want an argument, so I asked him on WhatsApp why I should pay for a technician when I don't own the apartment and had already paid for my stay. This was one of my worst lodging experiences, because of the staff's offensive, rude, and discriminatory behavior, not the apartment itself. No guest deserves that treatment.

We stayed for a long time as a family with a child, and had an amazing experience. The apartment was bright and spacious, with all the amenities we needed. The beach was five minutes away, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staff were friendly, made us feel comfortable, answered our questions, and gave us great recommendations for the area. Thank you, Nurten, Elif, Oktay.
