Zemira Garden Hotel

We loved being in the old town, with its lively feel, lovely restaurants, and shops. Buses and the old tram lines are nearby, and getting around was fun. Get a bus pass from the machines, then you can use it for all your transport. Someone helped us figure out the pass. Start with 200 TL. The hotel has a garden, and the manager, who might be the owner, takes care of guests. He brings breakfast, a typical Mediterranean-style spread. The tea was super, though the coffee was instant.

Avoid this “hotel” if you want a comfortable stay, a good night's sleep, and confidence that things are clean. It looked nothing like the photos. The garden had trash and smelled of cat pee, and both the rooms and garden need renovation. They even gave me an electric kettle with mold. I had booked and paid for a non-refundable stay through Booking. At first, they wanted my mother and me to go to another hotel belonging to his friend. They refused to return my money, and after I complained they gave us a tiny room. Every night there felt like a trial.

I spent five days here with my girlfriend. The staff were friendly and really helpful, and breakfast was simple but tasty. The service was excellent. I’d recommend the hotel to everyone, and hope we get the chance to stay here again.

Hadrians gate is so close, around 30 steps away, and the whole location is a dream, with everything within easy walking distance. We stayed at Zemira for three nights and wished we’d booked longer. The rooms were so clean and tidy, well maintained, and the air conditioning was fantastic. The staff were caring and lovely, and made us feel like part of the family. They also have a delicious restaurant and laundry service, which we really needed. Definitely recommend!
