I left after just one night because so many things were wrong. The listing gave the impression of a hotel stay, but that wasn’t what I found. Traffic noise came straight through the windows, and the corridor and elevator area smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, despite the property claiming to be non-smoking. The old towels and pillows were very uncomfortable. There was no night light, and I injured myself in the dark. I didn’t sleep properly, and the place didn’t feel safe or comfortable. I reported the problems to Airbnb within hours of checking out. The host has refused a refund and still says I stayed all five nights. I left the key and all my luggage on the first morning and didn’t return. It was a deeply frustrating stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, clean, hotel-standard place.

For a simple, good value stay near the airport, this place worked well for me and I’d come back. It’s a 35-minute to 1-hour drive from the tourist attractions, depending on traffic, and you’ll hear planes taking off and landing because the hotel is so close to the airport. Light sleepers should know that. If you use a washcloth or loofah, bring your own. It’s a no-frills option at a decent price, and I’d recommend it.

For the price, this worked well for my less-than-24-hour transit. The staff welcomed me warmly, helped with my luggage, and let me check out late and leave my bags there before my airport bus. The Yavuz Selim Mahallesi bus station is right in front of the hotel. The room could use better soundproofing, so light sleepers may want earplugs. The toilet was clean, though it leaked a bit, as shown in the photo. That wasn’t much of an issue for me.

After my friend and I missed our flight two weeks ago, we had to spend two days and two nights in Istanbul. We were lucky to find this welcoming hotel near the airport. The owner and staff were kind, and the cozy, comfortable room let us rest well. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
