We loved the grounds: green gardens with olive trees and flowers, birds and dragonflies, and a really nice clean pool. The stone buildings feel natural and suit Assos’s historic atmosphere. Our room and balcony were fantastic, and we enjoyed dinner, especially the salads and grilled fish. Breakfast was our one disappointment. It was a traditional Turkish serpme spread, with quality food, but there were lots of jams and cakes high in sugar and carbohydrates. That didn’t work well for our low-carb, low-sugar diet. The price per night was also a bit higher than we expected, and breakfast felt limited for people with special diets. We stayed just one night and left feeling amazing. It’s a wonderful hotel if you need a break and want to relax.

A quiet place with lovely scenery among olive and fruit trees, great for a peaceful stay. The staff are very friendly and the sea is clean. The beach is rocky and difficult to climb, especially for older people and little kids. Still, highly recommended for a quiet, quality break.

The food is great, with a menu rich in yogurt and vegetable-based mezes, and mostly fish for the main course. A wonderful spot to unwind for a few days beside the Aegean Sea.
