Assos Sizin Ev

We spent 15 days here and found the house spotless, with everything we needed. Ms. Yeşim is a careful, attentive owner. The 3+1 duplex and 1+1 duplex houses are in their third summer, and ours comfortably fit seven people. A little garden in front was a nice place to sit and unwind, with a fantastic view. There's a good market nearby if you want to shop, and the sea is about 10 minutes away. We went to İzzettin's place and would definitely recommend it.

Yeşim was a very attentive host, and I’d happily come back. The house is airy and practical, with a beautiful design and magnificent views. Waking up to birdsong and feeling the breeze was wonderful. Kadırga Bay is a 7-8-minute drive, and Assos's ancient city is very close. Bozcaada took another 40 minutes to reach. One thing to keep in mind: the village road is old and paved, so drive carefully if your car isn't suited to higher speeds.

We had breakfast in the downstairs garden before the sun reached it, looking out toward Lesbos. The view was so amazing that you couldn't take it all in. The village air and water felt especially lovely after coming from a crowded, polluted part of Istanbul, and the scenery was breathtaking in both day and night. Inside, the house was spacious, airy, and clean. There were two bathrooms and two air conditioners, and clean face and body towels upstairs and downstairs in sufficient quantities. Paper towels and toilet paper were in place, with extra supplies in the drawers, and the kitchen had everything. The day before we left, the power went out four or five times. The woman we rented from replied quickly and had it sorted that day. The village's electrical infrastructure was inadequate, and the power company had started work to improve it. The project was nearly finished while we were there, so I think it may be done now. Wishing everyone a happy, pleasant holiday without trouble.

Ms. Yeşim was attentive and helped us with whatever we needed. We stayed six people in the large house and were very comfortable. It was spotless, calm, and peaceful, with a wonderful view. The little bookshelf was a lovely extra. We were very pleased.
