Nomad Inn

Okan and Ozgur were such kind, courteous hosts, and we had a great time in their stone house. We hope to stay there again when we visit the Çanakkale region. Thanks to both of you for welcoming us, and all the best. We stayed in the loft in Balabanli. The house is cosy, with an appealing interior. The bathroom is nicely designed and has a good shower. The living room is spacious, with comfortable sofas and a TV. Right beside it, the kitchen is great for cooking and eating, with a huge fridge, dishwasher, practical hobs, and crockery provided. Upstairs, the bedroom is airy, bright, and comfortable. My favourite part was the outdoor sitting area, with shade, attractive plants, and tasteful lighting. Sit there for meals or to watch the stars late at night. The hosts are very hospitable, so feel free to ask them if you need help.

The village sits high on a mountain, close to a peaceful stretch of seaside, and the garden at the accommodation is beautiful. It's shared by guests and hosts. Okan and Özgür were sincere and very kind. They shared meals, freshly picked fruit, and trips around the region, and gave us helpful suggestions about what to do and when. We loved staying here and hope to come back!

Without a car, we found it easy to get to Assos by minibus. Taxis are available too, and hitchhiking is possible. The walks around the village are wonderful, with nature, quiet, and scenery that really moved us. My partner and I spent a week here at the end of January, enjoying the peaceful village life in Balabanli. We quickly got to know the shopkeeper and her cheese, Umu, who sold us the most amazing eggs, and of course Okan, the landlord, who gave us friendly tips. The small studio was just right for two people and very clean. Everything worked well. Okan had also prepared breakfast for us before we arrived, with delicious jams and olive oil. It was the quiet break we were looking for, with lots of lovely moments and relaxed laughs. Okan looked after us like a friend.

Such warm hospitality and friendship. It was the kind of experience you want to have again and again!
