Elia by Ortunc (+8)

We waited until the evening to get the third bed we had requested for one room, and only after asking for it three times. My room had no blankets, and nobody cleaned during our stay. At breakfast, some staff were served before guests and smoked nearby while people were still waiting for food. The room wasn't ready at 2:30 pm, either. Several staff members were unprofessional, and some were rude and wouldn't speak with us. Apart from the location, I found the hotel not worth it. The current ratings don't seem deserved to me, and may well be fake.

The service was very poor, management was terrible, and customer satisfaction seemed absent.

I like it, and you do too...

The garden is a lovely spot for tea or coffee, and there's a market close by. We were able to leave the car alone all weekend, which matters when you're coming from a big city; the hotel also has parking agreements so you can park for free. It's about a four-minute walk to Cunda's center. I first found Elia three years ago and liked the comfort and attentive staff enough to come back without looking elsewhere. The food is delicious. Rooms aren't especially big, but the beds are comfortable and the layout works well. I especially liked the bathroom slippers, you'll see what I mean :) We were happy with the whole stay. Thank you.
