I’ve rented a summer house nearby since 2018, and often visit the hotel beach and café, though I’ve never stayed in its rooms. The beach itself is nice, but if you aren’t a hotel guest, you can’t use the shower or the restrooms on the hotel’s entrance floor. They direct people to the facilities outside, which are a mess and dirty. The hotel also isn’t pet friendly, and they won’t even let pets into the outdoor café. I’ve only tried the side dishes, but didn’t find the food very tasty. Beer and fries might be the safer choice. Maybe they could learn a thing or two from nearby Arslan cafe. The staff are very friendly, especially Huseyin, who is helpful and hardworking. The owner, I think his name is Mehmet, Ali’s father, is grumpy and disrespectful to the staff. His son Ali is cheerful and friendly, and should take over the business as soon as possible.

You can sit right on the beach in the evening with dinner or coffee and watch the sunset. The sea was perfect for swimming, and both the hotel and cafe staff were helpful. It’s a lovely three-star place directly on the beach, with rooms looking out over the shore.

The sea is sandy and lovely for small children, especially behind the breakwaters where it gets so clear you can see fish swimming around you. We had a calm, pleasant stay and no trouble finding loungers. The other guests were decent, and the view from our room was beautiful. We booked bed and breakfast; the triple room was big enough for us, and while the furniture wasn’t fancy, it was comfortable. The room was quiet, and the sheets were very clean. Ms. İdil at reception was friendly and polite. For the price, the hotel offers quite a lot. Dinner tables are set out on the sand, which looks lovely, and the restaurant has different food options, though we went into Ayvalık center to eat so I can’t comment on the food. I’d have liked plain water in the showers instead of salty water, and the drink prices, water included, seemed a bit high. Fried eggs at breakfast would also be a good addition. Parking wasn’t a problem; we found a place right in front. We were very pleased we followed a friend’s recommendation.
