A really nice place, with an amazing owner, and it's affordable.

It wasn't bad.

We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back. What stood out most was the warm hospitality and welcome. I also liked that the building is a mansion and a historical one, which made it a nice experience for me. The rooms were clean and tidy. The location was excellent, even if not quite perfect.

The room was clean and the air conditioning worked fine, but there wasn't even the disposable shampoo listed in the room. There was no water, kettle, tea, or anything else you'd find at other hotels. The walls were incredibly thin, and with a passageway between rooms, we could hear lots of noise from the people staying next door. This place is advertised as a hotel, but it's a mansion split into rooms, and there's never anyone at reception. At 1 a.m. we searched for blankets and couldn't find any. I tried calling and texting the contact number but couldn't reach anyone. There were water outages through the day too, which is common practice in Ayvalık, and left the showers and toilets unusable. I think a hotel should have a water tank big enough to handle that. I wouldn't come back, and I don't recommend it.
