Göznur Hotel

The staff were rude, and the place was dirty.

The rooms were nice, but the service and customer care were zero. We arrived last night and stayed for one day. At 11:55 AM someone banged on the door and told us to leave. Six minutes later they came back shouting, "Get out of the room, or we'll be charged again!" Then they cut the room's electricity. I want to thank Mr. Karşılyan, but what happened this morning was appalling.

I checked the room before paying the rest of the money because other reviews mentioned dirt, and some of the reviews seemed misleading to me, possibly written by the hotel itself. I'd contacted Göznur Hotel while traveling from Bursa to Bandırma on a week-long tour of Marmara and sent a 500 TL deposit to reserve a room. The room was tiny and had a very strong smell. There were empty plastic bottles on the bedside tables, and the view wasn't good, though the hotel is near the pier. My brother has special needs, and with no elevator we couldn't have stayed there anyway. I didn't like the room, and although they said they'd return the deposit, they still haven't. I'd avoid this hotel.

Right in the city center, with friendly staff and a reasonable price. We stayed one night; the rooms could use some attention.
