Rixos Beldibi - Adult Only - The Land of Legends Access

If you like dancing, playing tennis and wearing lycra, this might suit you, but it wasn't for us. We didn't find the experience five-star. Only the buffet restaurant was available for meals because the Downtown restaurant was closed. Lavante and The Flavour opened once a week, and getting a booking seemed to depend on luck. The food was lukewarm and not especially inviting or tasty. Entertainment was professional on two nights; on the other nights the entertainment team provided dancing. Staff were friendly enough, but table service was often poor. The coffee house wasn't a separate space, just a sign on the wall and a fridge of cakes in the wunderbar. At night there was only one area to sit, so anyone wanting peace and quiet had to go to their room. A digger worked on the beach every day, and I wondered why that hadn't been done before the season opened. The air conditioning in our room didn't work. Sea-view rooms get no afternoon sun, while mountain-view rooms get sun for part of the afternoon but have road noise.

The fitness centre looks almost new, and the equipment is high quality. We also enjoyed the entertainment and were pleasantly surprised by how good the buffet was. The hotel itself is pleasant, with helpful staff. The à la carte restaurant is the snag. It always seems fully booked, which gets frustrating after a few days of buffet meals. There isn't anywhere else nearby to go or explore, so it would be much better if the restaurant were available more regularly, ideally every day. Still, I'd recommend the hotel to anyone looking to unwind and recharge.

The grounds are lush, and the setting feels peaceful and a little exotic. Staff are everywhere and attentive, and requests don't go unanswered. The rooms are refreshed each day, with cleanliness checked regularly. There's a huge range of well-made food, too. Turkey is known for hospitality and good care, and Magic Life Rixos really lives up to that. We expect to return, knowing we can count on a smooth, reassuring stay. A brilliant hotel, with wonderful staff and, of course, the magnificent Turkish people.

One thing to know is that the hotel mostly has German guests, so keep that vibe in mind. The room cleaning could be better in the corners, where I found some dirt, though I'd still give the room and cleanliness 4.8/5. It's a peaceful place for a relaxing break, especially for couples. There's plenty to do, mostly sports activities, so you won't be bored. The service, food, and staff were very good. I'd happily go back.
