I paid for something much better than this, but the staff were no help at all and refused to clean my room during my nine-night stay. The two clubs right beside the hotel play music loudly all night, and the windows don’t close all the way, so it feels like the music is right in your ears. You can’t get any sleep, and they won’t work with you. I think the positive reviews came from friends and family asked by the owners, rather than actual guests. Everyone who stayed here regrets it deeply. I’m trying to save you from the same regret. You’re welcome. Life span hotel gets my award for worst hotel in the world and made this the most horrifying stay I’ve ever had.

We were moved to another hotel under the same management soon after arriving, because we were told there was a problem with our room. The property shown in the listing wasn’t where we actually stayed. The replacement was in unacceptable condition, with outdated facilities, poor cleanliness, and visible pests. Housekeeping was unreliable, and even basic requests like changing towels were ignored. Noise in the area continued throughout the night and made proper rest impossible. For the price, the stay wasn’t justified. I wouldn’t recommend the place. It was truly horrible.

We were told there was a “toilet issue” when we arrived, then sent to a different hotel owned by the same people. It was dirty, outdated, and shocking, with an unflushed toilet when we got there, cockroaches, and repeated failures to clean the room or change towels despite our requests. The room felt dark and unsafe, and loud club noise carried on all night, so sleeping was impossible. We’d chosen the original property for its luxury photos and 4.8-star rating, but the listing was completely misleading. It felt like a bait-and-switch. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.

The host is good, but the facilities are below average. It used to be a good hotel. I stayed this year, 2026, and the service had declined to the point that I regretted choosing it.

We couldn’t sleep the first night because the room had a strong mold smell, on top of loud noise from nearby bars and clubs. The floor was dirty and the bed linen was covered in mold. We asked reception to move us and were shown other rooms, but they were just as bad or worse, with cigarette smoke in some of them. A receptionist offered a move to another hotel in the same chain in Harbiye, but it would cost an extra €10 per night for a room with a balcony. We reluctantly agreed. The next day we moved there. The balcony door had been left open, so we didn’t notice the mold at first, but the smell came back as soon as we shut it. That hotel was filthy too, and didn’t have an elevator.
