Soho House Istanbul

We had a lovely stay with my family around Christmas. The location is ideal, and the thoughtful interior design creates a nice atmosphere. Our rooms were spacious and clean, and the Cowshed product selection was great. Breakfast was generous and had plenty of variety. The gym was well equipped with different machines, classes, and towels. I also had a very relaxing massage at the spa from a professional therapist. Reception were kind and helpful with restaurant bookings, taxis, and other requests. I'd recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I came back. I was here two weeks ago and am staying again for the next two days. The front desk team sorted out some reservation issues with real care and professionalism. Esma, Firat, and Begüm were especially patient, helpful, and kind, and made sure everything got resolved smoothly. They welcomed us with delicious Turkish çay, which made us feel comfortable right away. The cookies in the room were another lovely touch, and we genuinely looked forward to them again. Both stays have been comfortable and stress-free thanks to the warm hospitality. I highly recommend Soho Hotel Istanbul and will keep choosing it when I'm in the city.

The building's history and style hit you as soon as you walk in. It has soaring ceilings, beautiful details, and loads of character, while the spacious rooms feel elegant and comfortable. The staff were warm and attentive without overdoing it, and made everything easy. The rooftop, club spaces, and Cecconi’s all had great energy and people, with that Soho House feel that makes you want to linger. One of the most beautiful Houses I've visited, and I can't wait to return to Soho House Istanbul.

The design is the strongest part: the lobby, rooms, gym, and building itself are beautiful. But the service and attention to detail didn't live up to the glamorous image, and it felt overpriced. We had to manage our luggage on arrival, though someone helped at checkout. Room #50 was noisy on Saturday night, with music until 3 AM. The AC blew onto the bed, but without it the room got too hot. There were other frustrating details. The kettle was in bad condition, the bathroom door fell off and needed fixing, and the tiny sink had nowhere to put personal items. A small side table might help. I left clothes in the laundry bag with a note, but nothing was cleaned. Guests also aren't told at check-in about the no-photography policy, which should be made clear if it matters to the hotel. In the evenings the place didn't feel private, with large groups passing through for events or the restaurant. We also found the lobby café service unfriendly and distant. Impressive surroundings, but I wouldn't return.
