The room smelled of sewage, the toilet door was broken and trapped me inside a few times, and I had to fix the shower head on the rare occasions there was water for a shower. The mosquito net was broken, too. I booked two weeks in October and tried to be patient, but this place is a joke, not a hotel. It has only six rooms, so it should be easy to run. There was no water for a week in total, no WiFi at all despite daily promises, and no cleaning for eight straight days. Staff were off sick for a week, leaving nobody there to even close the front door at night. Customer service was awful. The woman with the small dog was rude and unhelpful, seemed interested only in taking my money, lied to my face with daily excuses, and didn't speak a word of English. Avoid this place, it will ruin your Bodrum experience!

We booked the Mia Butik hotel, but at check-in they moved us across the street to a room at the Çarşı hotel, saying it was bigger and quieter. Late at night, hotel staff got drunk and were loud and belligerent outside our room. When we asked them to quiet down, then asked again after they didn't, they told us to “shut up, take our money and leave.” I've never been treated so badly at a hotel. If it hadn't been the middle of the night, we would have left. It completely ruined our time in Bodrum.

The hotel has an authentic, ethnic feel, and the rooms are spotless. Staff were fantastic and friendly. It's centrally located, within easy reach of the sea, entertainment, food and shopping. I'll definitely return.

The rooms are filthy, with no cleaning and towels that are never changed. The sheets are stained. I wouldn't recommend staying there.
