Milenyum Residence

We were there for four nights with my elderly parents and two children. The rooms were spotless and the property looked clean when we arrived, and the location made it easy to reach the beach, bars, and restaurants. There was noise from nearby bars and clubs late into the night, though. We asked for a ground-floor room because of my parents and the kids, but none was available. The toilet seat and shower were broken, and nothing was done after I reported it. When we asked for things like sugar or dishwasher tablets, we were told to buy them at the shops. They also wanted 300 TKL for cleaning during our four-day stay, despite having cleaners available. One day, other guests or owners had parked so badly that we couldn't move our car and had to take a taxi. Whenever staff saw us heading out, they asked if we were checking out. The hosts came across as rude, and the stay just wasn't pleasant. I wouldn't return even if it were free. It didn't feel worth the money.

The convenient location was the one real plus, with everything close by. Inside, though, the strong bleach smell hit me as soon as I walked in, and the rooms and bathrooms were far smaller than the photos suggested. The property also seemed poorly maintained, and various problems made our stay uncomfortable. The host was arrogant, hostile, and intimidating, which made the atmosphere unpleasant. Our concerns weren't properly dealt with, and the customer service was poor. The place wasn't cleaned each day, and we didn't get fresh towels, which I expected for what we paid. I left disappointed and unhappy with the stay.

The rooms looked tidy and were nicely furnished, but the mattresses were worn and the sheets kept coming off. We were also repeatedly asked to keep quiet for ordinary daytime conversations. Apart from Firat, the service was consistently terrible, and the staff didn't seem focused on making our stay comfortable. The pool would close without much warning, sometimes early because of unexpected chlorine cleaning, and then it couldn't be used for the rest of the day. Facility hours were inconsistent, and the poolside bar took cash only. We were staying with friends and left disappointed by all of this. We regret choosing the residence and can't recommend it for a good group stay.

Late-night check-in was the only good part. We were taken to an apartment different from the one we booked, with a layout that didn't work for us, and it was extremely dirty. The towels were torn, the bed linen was dirty with brown stains, and the bathroom mat was filthy. There was dust everywhere. Because we couldn't all stay together in that apartment, they gave us another one in the same building. It was dirty too, with a huge broken window and no blankets. It was very cold inside. The listing said there was central heating, but there was only an air conditioner that made a lot of noise and didn't heat. The next day the host was busy and didn't want to help. He just said we could cancel the reservation and he'd accept it. Horrible service. Avoid this place.
