We spent two nights here in May 2026, and had a bad experience. I don't usually leave low ratings without a reason, as my profile shows. On the first night, the fire alarm woke us three times. The next night, a persistent alarm made it hard to sleep, and we couldn't reach reception by phone or text. There isn't a landline in the room, and no kettle or supplies for making tea or coffee. The breakfast area was outdoors, so weather conditions meant it was closed on the day we went; we were sent to the hall at the hotel across the street. The sliding toilet doors don't lock, and noise carries through the hotel. Sounds echo in the corridor and into the rooms, so it was impossible to sleep during the day and relax. The mini shampoo bottles in our room were expired. I hope the hotel works to fix these problems.

We were staying at another hotel, but Marika Hotel kindly let us have breakfast with our friends. The staff were helpful, attentive, and so friendly that we felt like guests rather than strangers. Their warm welcome and hospitality made us very happy. Many thanks to the whole Marika Hotel team for the sincere service and lovely gesture.

The hotel is close to the city center, and our rooms were clean and comfortable. We spent two lovely nights here with our cousins and appreciated how welcoming and friendly the staff were. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

Mr. Bedrettin told us about the island and its bays, and we were happy with his recommendations. The breakfast was probably the best on the island, especially the eggplant pastry and fried dough served hot. I stayed here for 2 days during my Bozcaada holiday. It's a 10-minute walk to the island center, and the bays are about 10-12 minutes away by car. I definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed sitting in the garden, with its pleasant seating areas and lovely view, in the morning and evening. At breakfast, Mr. Bedrettin was happy to suggest things to do around the island, and Mr. Yasin at reception was attentive. The breakfast had enough variety, everything was fresh and tasty, and we especially liked the Turkish flatbread (pişi). The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. It's also conveniently located, a 10-12 minute walk from the ferries.
