Safran Hotel

We visited at the beginning of January and found the room pleasantly warm, with underfloor heating that made walking barefoot comfortable. The bed was large and comfortable, and the mountain view from our room was spectacular. The hotel feels like a little Renaissance castle, full of paintings, exhibits, and retro furniture. Its central Bursa location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk from muzeum Zindankapi.

Our room was quiet and clean, though a little small, and it was still plenty for a few days. Breakfast was included, and the night cost 3000tl. The location is great for Bursa’s main sights, and especially handy for skiing, with a minibus right in front. The owner knows the minibus organizers, and the family running this little hotel were lovely and always ready to help. They also let us leave our bags and take a quick shower before we went back, which we really appreciated. I’d choose this hotel again if I return.

We felt very welcome and enjoyed our one-night stay. The room was warm and clean, and the owner was lovely and helpful. The neighborhood is nice, with important tourist spots nearby, so we didn't need the car at all. Happy to recommend it.

The room was spacious and had nice warm-toned light bulbs, warmer than the ones I usually find in Turkey. It also came with a fridge, kettle, and welcome set. The location is excellent for visiting Bursa, and the prices are good. The staff were very sweet. They didn't say much to us in English, but they answered every question. Breakfast was fresh and good, just too light for me to start the day, even though I don't usually eat much. There was mold in the bathroom, which needs professional cleaning. One bedside lamp was broken, but the other worked.
