I've stayed at many hotels in the area, and this one was the worst. I could have overlooked the poor service and quality, but not what felt like deception and lying, so here's what happened. The room photos they sent showed a nice, open view, but ours was blocked by trees. They advertise free WiFi online, but there was no internet. Before checking in, we asked the older woman about it, and she kept avoiding the question. We thought it might be a language barrier. After paying and getting to the room, we asked again, and she said the connection was weak and came and went. I contacted the manager, who said the area had no internet service or infrastructure. Other nearby hotels, though, have good internet. We also had no privacy. We went out to buy something and locked our room, but when we came back, someone had entered and turned off the AC we'd deliberately left on because it was hot. Getting help wasn't possible whenever we needed it, since staff weren't always there. Once, a foreign man came all the way into my room. He turned out to be a customer looking for reception to book a room. The room itself was poor quality. The mattress was very dirty, the toilet seat wouldn't stay up, the shower wasn't separate and flooded the whole bathroom, and the curtains were in bad shape and didn't block the light. The path to the hotel wasn't very good either, and ended in an unpaved road.

The cabins are cute, well built and well cared for, and I think this is the best spot in the valley. It's a beautiful location with an amazing view, and because of where it sits, it gets the most sun in winter. The couple looking after the family business during winter were kind, attentive and helpful. Whenever we went out, they even got the fire ready to light, so it was easy when we came back. There's no WiFi because the area has no infrastructure, but there is phone service. Five stars, definitely recommend.

The view was incredible, and the owners made us feel at home. Everything was cozy, and they were welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful, and they gave us soup at night that was just right for the rainy weather. They also suggested nice places to see and explore. No wonder this place gets such high ratings, they deserve them. Five stars isn't enough, it's 10/10 ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Purkinora. It was peaceful and quiet, and all we could hear was the lovely river. The bungalow was very clean, and the views were incredible. Our hosts were kind and welcoming, and went the extra mile to accommodate our requests and make us comfortable.

Purkinora was such a lovely place, very clean, with a beautiful view, SubhanAllah. We walked down to pick some tea plants 🪴 and then strolled by the river. The sound of the water and birds was exactly what I'd always dreamed of, and we had a great time there with our kids. I've never met a family this beautiful. They were respectful and generous, and so kind to my kids, Ghassan and Loay. We loved everyone, especially Sister Fatimah and Brother Adam. Thank you so much. May Allah protect you and your family.
