Anzac House Youth Hostel

There are lots of tasty, inexpensive restaurants nearby, and the staff were very friendly and tried to help sort things out, including giving us bus advice. The place isn't perfect, but for budget backpackers it was still a good option and the cheapest we found. Our front-facing twin room got nice light and a breeze during the day, but fluorescent lights came through at night, along with lots of noise from the Ramadan festivities outside. On our second day, both the Wi-Fi and water went off for the whole day.

The Gallipoli tour arranged by the tour company was interesting and informative. The hotel is well placed for getting off the ferry and reaching the sights, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.

Mehmet was amazing and went out of his way to help me with flights, local activities, Gallipoli, and finding a locksmith for my broken lock. The hotel/hostel was very clean, including the rooms and bathrooms, and Wi-Fi was available. Right in the middle of Çanakkale, it's easy to get to the bars, restaurants, and ferries. Great value compared with anywhere else in Çanakkale. Thanks for the awesome stay, Mehmet!

The helpful staff had great suggestions for meals and gave me directions, and the Gallipoli tour was fantastic. This sleepy hostel sits beside the ferry station, and the hosts made my stay in Canakkale amazing. I added a photo of the front because it looks a little different from the pictures I found on Google. I'd choose the single private room over a dorm, since it costs only a little more for much better accommodation. I found Canakkale to be a lovely little university town, and I'd allow an extra night or two to enjoy it instead of just visiting Gallipoli and moving on.
