Ahmet went out of his way to help after I misplaced my wallet, and the friends of his I met also seemed lovely. The rooms have everything you need, with comfortable mattresses, air conditioning, and a nice balcony for sitting outside. From there, the view looks out over the town of Çayeli. Anyone who has traveled in the Karadeniz won't be surprised that the hosts' kindness was the highlight. I highly recommend staying at Loya if you're in the area.

The receptionist was professional and very helpful, and the humble, friendly people made us feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing, served right to my balcony. The location and view were nice too.

We loved our two nights here, with breathtaking views and outstanding service. One of the best cottages in Rize, and I highly recommend staying here!

For me, it’s a 4.5-star stay, or 9 out of 10. The welcoming staff, comfortable beds, and very clean room made a good impression. We were there for one cold, rainy night in October, but the room stayed warm and dry and had a pleasant wooden smell. The views of the sea and tea plantations were lovely. For a five-star rating, I’d add a teapot and cups in the room. Breakfast was good, though quite basic compared with other local breakfasts we had.

From one side, you can see the whole city, and from the other, there are beautiful tea gardens. The new all-wood rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was not bad either. We enjoyed our stay.
