We were so glad to find this on Booking.com. People kept telling us to go to Kadikoy, but it's mostly residential and there aren't many decent, affordable hotels. This one is close to Bahariye and some awesome restaurants. The reviews seemed pretty old, but we arrived to find a completely renovated apartment, with a kitchenette too. It was really comfortable and spacious, especially after a run of tiny hotels in the old city. Restaurants, cafes, shops, trams, and mini supermarkets are all nearby, and there's a nice walk down to the water. I'm already thinking about coming back, and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The location in central Kadikoy worked perfectly, with restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby. Even as a light sleeper, I hardly heard any noise at night. The metro and ferry to the Europe side are about a 10-minute walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has been fully renovated, and everything was new, including the furniture, towels, and kitchen cookware. My room was spacious and spotless, with great decor. I especially liked the functional cooking area, which let me cook almost every day. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.
