Ema Hotel

Getting to the center and the cable car is quick and easy. The place was very clean.

I only stayed one day. It's cold, the shower stall is useless, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything. I couldn't even close the door without hearing it all. I understand the staff live on the top floor, but they carry on noisily as if they're at home until they fall asleep. If all you care about is having a view, maybe that's enough. But if you want comfort and peace, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The room is spotlessly clean and has a magnificent view, a complete change from the gloomy decor leading up to the elevator. Since the ground floor is used for retail shops, you enter from the basement. There really is a reception area.

We stayed in a bungalow and the house itself wasn't bad. The problem was the man at reception. He seemed distracted and wasn't clear about what he was saying. The person we'd spoken to on the phone said there were no rooms available in the rooms shown in the pictures, but the receptionist said the hotel had rooms available. We couldn't make sense of what he was telling us.
