We were there for three nights with our own car, but there was no free parking, despite what Booking said. The host was very hospitable, and they offered breakfast separately for 12 euros per person. We declined and ate instead at Istanbul's colorful cafes. The Blue Mosque is a 10-minute walk away, right in the historic center. Our room was small, with two beds, a shower bathroom, a small refrigerator and TV, a kettle, and free Wi-Fi. We were given two towels, shampoo, and soap. The furniture and bathroom are old and need replacing, having lost their appeal and functionality. The bathroom smelled so foul that we had to sleep with the window open. We got up early for excursions and came back late, so it was perfectly fine for a "restful" night.
