The pool was clean and refreshing, and breakfast was fresh and tasty, though the omelet serving was a little small. We also had parking for our car, and the missing fridge in the room wasn’t a big deal for us. Our room was spotless, the beds were comfortable and in good shape, and the whole place had a cozy, homelike feel. The family running Degirmenli Konak Hotel were so kind, even lending us towels for the beach, and they offered us a late checkout. We stayed one night and had a lovely time. It’s peaceful and welcoming, and we’d gladly return.

Emir, I hope I got his name right, was especially helpful with communication. He was very polite and such a gentleman. The other employees were attentive and courteous too, and both the service and rooms were very good. Everything was great, and I recommend this as a nice place to stay.

We got around on the green bus and by taxi, and also took a ferry ride from Cesme around the islands, which is worth trying. Ilica beach was really great. The town felt warm and friendly, and staying here gave us a nice chance to feel like locals. The owners were so kind, the food was lovely, and even the room had a seaside feel. Those days were perfect, thank you, guys.
