Sakin Ev

Sakin Ev is set in a peaceful, quiet spot, but the center of Alacati is only a minute's walk away. The owners and staff were welcoming, thoughtful, and attentive, and I loved the fresh Turkish breakfasts with the garden view. I even got to enjoy pomegranates picked fresh from their garden, a real bonus. The community felt beautiful and safe, and as a solo traveler I enjoyed walking around the shops, cafes, and art studios late into the evening. The hotel is in homes more than 100 years old, with a serene atmosphere and wonderful garden. If you love culture, nature, good food, and somewhere calm that's still close to everything, it's a great place to stay. I spent a few wonderful years in Türkiye, and coming back here felt like a warm embrace full of memories of the country. The owner poured water behind me for a safe journey and said, “May your journey flow smoothly like water, and may you return as water returns to its course. Until we see each other again.” It was a heartwarming experience. I'll miss everyone's hospitality and hope to return to this dreamy, artistic town. Highly recommend Sakin Ev.

The staff were so friendly, helpful, and supportive, and Murat went especially far out of his way to help us find our taxi at 5 am on two occasions. The streets are tricky to navigate, and we were traveling with our older grandmother, so his help meant a lot. We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful house, which feels like a castle. There’s lovely wooden furniture, careful decor, and even a fireplace. The orthopedic mattress and pillows made us very comfortable, and breakfast in the garden was amazing, with lots of fruit. The location was great too, with flowers and pretty cafes along our walk each morning. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation! :)

Sakin Ev is only a few steps from Alaçati's main streets, but inside there's a calm, tasteful atmosphere. Everything feels in harmony, from the architecture and decor to the interior, exterior, and enchanting green garden. The people who run it bring the same care and attention to their guests. I spent a few wonderful years in Türkiye, and returning brought back cherished memories of the country. This place felt like a warm embrace and, to me, captured Turkish hospitality, the humility and pride of the people, and an easy way of living in harmony with nature. I booked after reading the wonderful reviews, and worried it might be too far from the beaches. I'm so glad I stuck with my choice, though. I'd come back any time of year, with beaches or without. Sakin Ev and its hosts are what I'll miss most about this holiday. I truly hope to return someday.

I've been staying at Sakin Ev for an extended time, mostly in the off season, and it's been fantastic. It has its own atmosphere and story, and doesn't feel like a regular boutique hotel. It's close to the center but away from a noisy street, just as other reviews say. The owners are great hosts and help however they can. They speak good English, which isn't always the case here. The hotel has gas heating, good internet indoors and out in the garden, and all the facilities you need. If you're looking for a nice place with an antique feel, I highly recommend Sakin Ev.
