FunBeach Club

The water is clear and clean, there's plenty to do, and the grounds are huge, with lots of places to sit and sun beds. I've been coming to Fun Beach since I was little and still enjoy it. The crowd ranges from families to people in their twenties. Entry was 1500 lira per person on a Saturday, which is steep, though it might cost less on another day. Staff were kind, and speaking both English and Turkish helped our group communicate with everyone. Service slowed down when it got packed, probably because the place is so large and hard to manage. I wasn't impressed by the food, which can be bland, but small snacks like fries are fine. There's more to like than not, and I really like the place.

The water was fenced off because of a water sport competition, with about 80% of the beach closed, but nobody warned us before charging 1500 TL each. We felt deceived. When we asked for our money back after discovering the closure, they refused. The woman at the entrance had also given us tickets for free soft drinks, yet both drinks showed up on our bill. It felt like they were trying to squeeze every bit of money out of us. We then waited around 40 minutes to order food while roughly eight waiters avoided us because they didn't speak English. The burrito we eventually got was mediocre and cost nearly 20 euros. They put on airs like a fancy Ibiza beach club, but came across as wannabes. Worst beach club experience ever. Avoid it, there are plenty of better options.

The price is what took two stars off for me. Entry alone was 900 liras, and even though my friend covered everything, I'd still choose a free beach. If you're rich or just want somewhere fancy, maybe this place is for you. I came for a friend's birthday and thought it was a nice spot otherwise, with good food, lots of choices, and some things you can ride. The water was nice too, though I suspect they added artificial sand, lol. For me it's a 6/10, and I don't think it's worth that much.

The sea is gorgeous, crystal-clear turquoise, and cold in a refreshing way. There's also a fun park out on the water that could be a nice way to spend some time. Like almost all the beach clubs in Çeşme, though, it's very overpriced.
