Li̇zboni̇a Çeşme Otel

The staff behaved well, and the pool and backyard were okay, but I’m giving it 2 stars because the room wasn’t clean enough. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned carefully, the shampoo box was empty, and the shower water drained so slowly that I couldn’t finish showering. I stayed for one night. There’s also no private, secure car parking area.

The staff at Otel Yeni looked after us so well, and their tips helped us make the most of our week. Murat even brought cushions for the sunbeds and kept us supplied with coffee and chilled drinks by the pool. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. The team were extremely attentive, and the fresh-to-order eggs and toast were a nice touch at the buffet breakfast, which had something for everyone. Our spacious, comfortable room had a great view over the pool and good WiFi. The hotel is family-run and well placed, about a 10-minute walk from town, with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. The Marina has had a lot of investment, with spots for food, cocktails, or cold beers while watching the sunset. A taxi back cost just 15 lira (£2!!). Cesme itself is a lovely resort. The town still has its old charm, with cobbled streets, shops, and the historic castle. We loved the people, food, culture, and history. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely return to Cesme and stay at Otel Yeni again.

The location is amazing, with buses nearby that can take you everywhere. The room was super clean and smelled really good, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was amazing.

The pool was clean, and getting to the beach didn’t take long. The staff were nice, though the food quality could be hit or miss.
