Sedirli Ev Alacati

The staff made us feel so comfortable, and the Turkish breakfast was delicious. In fact, everything we ate at the hotel was lovely. Our room had a fully equipped kitchen too, so cooking for ourselves would’ve been easy. We planned to spend time in Alaçatı, but kept wanting to stay at the hotel instead. I’d love to come back for longer next time. It feels less like a hotel and more like staying in a gorgeous old ottoman house in the Aegean. The architecture and decor have so much thought in them, right down to the little corners, and together they tell a lovely story. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed, and I can’t recommend it enough.

The people here made us feel at home from the start. The ladies and Mr Eralp were so kind, welcoming, and helpful, and we felt very well cared for. Our room opened straight onto the beautiful garden, which made it even more special. Sedirli Ev Alacati has a peaceful, cozy feel and such thoughtfully done interiors. It’s also an easy walk to Alacati carsi. We’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Eralp helped us find our way around the city, and Gulbahar made amazing Turkish coffees. The other hosts were just as attentive and welcoming. The owners, Erdem abi and Aysegul, made everything feel so cozy, and I’m still thinking about an inspiring conversation I had with Erdem abi. I hope we can catch up again. Thanks for the food, the chats, the comfortable spaces, and for making our trip to Alacati worthwhile. You made us feel at home. 10/10 if you’re passing through Alacati/Cesme.

The home-cooked meals were a real highlight, with fresh, locally sourced food that gives the place a personal touch. The staff were kind and attentive, and the small size of this 7-room boutique hotel makes the service feel personal. Its traditional decor also captures Alacati’s local character. Our spacious suite had a bedroom, living room, and fully equipped kitchen, along with air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi, and a TV. There’s a lovely pool for warm afternoons, and the shared lounge has plenty of seating and a piano. It’s a comfortable mix of a homey atmosphere and upscale amenities, with facilities that cover what you need. A peaceful base for exploring Alacati’s windmills and vineyards, or just unwinding. Highly recommended for an authentic, high-quality stay in one of Turkey’s most picturesque towns.
