Getting around was easy, with buses from Izmir and frequent buses to Alaçatı and Çeșme. The town itself is pretty and clean, with plenty of places to eat and shop. Yalı Pansyon Ilıca is also very close to one of the area's best beaches, Ilıca Halk Plajı, with crystal clear water. The hosts were so kind and friendly, even helping us with our broken luggage. They lent us umbrellas and beach chairs too. Breakfast was fully traditional Aegean Turkish food. Our room was clean and nicely furnished, and really felt like home. I don't think I've ever felt better at another accommodation. We highly recommend it. Thank you so much, we already miss Ilıca!

The rooms are cozy and sweet, and the owner is super friendly and helpful. I've never had such great service. It's only three minutes from one of the best beaches in Turkey, so I can totally recommend it.

This is a good fit if you're not looking for a high-end hotel. Our room was airy and quite spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the room cleaning was good. The bathroom and toilet could use a deeper clean, though. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd read a review saying the person who answers the phone sounded fixed and dismissive, and thought the same before arriving. It seems that's just their personality, with no bad intent. They were actually kind and helpful. The guesthouse is very close to the sea, so you can come straight back from swimming, shower, and relax. There's a small cafeteria for non-guests. As far as I could tell, non-guests can also use the showers for a fee.
