A few things may catch foreign visitors off guard. Men and women are kept separate, so you can't use the sauna or hot pools together with your partner. The signs are all in Turkish, with no English. Food was good, though it wasn't five-star, and the menu leaned toward cheaper dishes, so don't expect steak or seafood. The entertainment is mostly Turkish guitar players singing. I'm sure Turkish guests enjoy it, but it's not really our thing. Most guests are locals, so I understand the hotel doesn't cater to foreign tourists. I didn't expect it to, but wanted other foreigners to know what to expect.

The rooms are great, but the kids' playland is closed on Mondays, and nobody mentioned that when we booked. At the Aqua Park, people were jumping right after one another and nobody was managing the line. Someone jumped immediately after my daughter and hit her.

The setting around the hotel is lovely, with mountains and trees, and it's a nice place for families, friends, or couples. I'd especially suggest visiting in winter, when the hot baths, Turkish hamam, and other facilities are more enjoyable in the cold. The food service was very nice, 8 out of 10. Four people can stay comfortably in a 1+1 room; otherwise, choose a 2+1 room. One thing to know: massages may be listed as available, but they aren't free, even when you've paid for the room. The swimming pools and hot baths are included, but other things aren't, including massages.
