Houdini Otel

The staff were really nice, which is why my rating is higher, but after one night I wouldn't come back. The rooms are spacious and the hotel looks attractive at first, though a closer look shows poor upkeep. Cleanliness wasn't up to standard. Breakfast was a joke, barely anything to eat and no coffee. There were also people sleeping randomly behind the hotel, which felt odd. It's a shame because the place has potential, but the owner doesn't seem interested in looking after it properly. Way too expensive for what's offered.

The hotel had only just opened when we visited, so some work was still going on. Even so, we enjoyed our stay. The owner has given it a distinctive design, and the staff were very welcoming and nice. It seems like a boutique hotel with promise.

So good. Loved it, had a really great time.

We expected two comfortable days, but it turned into a misery. The rooms were damp and had no heat, and we were freezing when we went downstairs for breakfast. When we mentioned that the room fridge wasn't working, he said he'd bring drinks up from downstairs. We told him the room was cold too, and he replied that we must be used to very warm weather at home.
