We loved the varied breakfast, with different dishes each day, and Sabiha Hanım and her colleagues were warm and helpful when we planned our sightseeing route. The location is excellent: every bay in the area is within a 10-minute drive, and two other lovely bays are walkable if you'd rather not drive. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and very clean. In the evenings, you can relax in the garden seating areas. We may come back to Datça just to stay here again.

The setting was just what we wanted: close to the swimming bays and away from city noise. It's 25-30 minutes from the center, which might suit you or not depending on what you're after. This is a small boutique stone house, with what I think are 5-6 rooms, and a beautiful garden with hammocks and swings. The breakfast area is very clean and they pay attention to little things like tablecloths and placemats. Breakfast is good, and they prepare it in view, right behind where you sit. There could perhaps be more hot options. The rooms are clean and designed with a Datça feel, though a spot for odds and ends, such as a makeup mirror on top of the dresser, would help. It isn't an all-inclusive hotel, so there's no daily room cleaning or towel replacement routine, but they say you can ask if you need it. If you want crickets and birds in the morning and a quiet room among bougainvillea after a noisy day, this place fits.

We were very unhappy with our stay in the first week of August 2025. We'd booked two nights, but left early on the second day. There was only one other outside family staying there; the rest seemed to be the owner's friends and relatives. It felt like being outsiders in a close-knit group, which made us uncomfortable. At breakfast, my daughter was given only two cigarette börek, so I asked for another. In front of everyone, the owner spent two hours explaining that because we'd booked for two people, they made the food to match that number, though this time they'd made it for us. There was clearly a communication problem. When we arrived, the owner showed us our room and left without explaining basics like breakfast time or where the garden and dining area were. When I brought this up as we left, she said we hadn't come to ask. They also kept 1000 TL as a cancellation fee because they wouldn't let us leave on day two. I don't recommend it. Mesudiye is a long way from Datça center, the roads are very winding, and you can't find anywhere to eat nearby, so you have to go all the way into Datça.

My wife and I spent four days here. It has a lovely, quiet location, and the hotel owner, Sabiha, was sincere and friendly. Breakfast was complete and excellent. It had a real family atmosphere, and I'd definitely recommend it.
