The garden is full of green, bougainvillea, and fruit trees, and staying in the stone house with its own little garden was lovely. My son even picked peppers and tomatoes in the mornings. We were there for five nights with my wife and child, and left so happy with the stay that I'd tell anyone considering it to book right away. We'd been visiting Datça for years but only found the place by chance on Google during our last holiday. The photos seemed almost too good to be real, but it looked just like them. Cleanliness was my big concern, especially the smell of cleaning products and wood, so I arrived with lots of supplies. I only used bleach in the toilet. Everything else was so clean I didn't need to do anything. The two women on the cleaning staff did a great job and were helpful with everything. The towels and linens were ironed and smelled wonderful. Our 1+1 apartment had two air conditioners. The stone walls kept it cool, and one unit was enough. The kitchen had what we needed, though families with children might want to bring extra utensils. Having a dishwasher was really convenient. We bought groceries in the city center before heading over, and every house has its own barbecue for use in the garden. They even cleaned the grill and brought it back the next day, which was so thoughtful. When the gas cylinder ran out, they replaced it immediately, and they also quickly sorted out a power cut. Those things can happen. They cleaned our house on the third day of our five-day stay and changed the sheets and towels. Everything was spotless. There are two washing machines in the shared area, both very clean and smelling great. We used them a few times. It felt like being in our own home rather than a hotel or rental house. The pillows, blankets, everything was spotless. I'm very particular about cleanliness and was traveling with children, so I hope this helps anyone who's unsure feel at ease. We couldn't bring ourselves to use the lemons we picked from our garden on the last day, and want to keep them as a little souvenir from you. ☺️ Hope we'll meet again, and thanks so much for everything.
