44 Hotel

We picked this hotel because it was the most affordable, and it was okay for a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t choose it for a holiday or stay here again. The beach is only a two-minute walk away, which is a very nice location. My wife and I were there for three nights. The hotel looked clean from outside, though inside it could have been cleaner. The room was so small that two adults barely fit, and it isn’t suitable for children. Breakfast was included, but we found it very poor and not tasty. Olives, cheese, and eggs weren’t enough to fill us up. They even charged for tea, when at least unlimited tea should have come with breakfast. Thank you 🙏

I felt very safe here as a woman, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms are new, high quality, and impeccably clean. It’s a fantastic new hotel, with the beach easy to reach on foot. I had no complaints about breakfast either.

We were glad we’d only booked one night, and left right away. When we told reception about the problems, the response was, “Are you kidding me? Compared to other hotels in the area, we’re much better. Go see for yourself, and you’ll understand.” That made us feel especially welcome. The elevator wasn’t working, and when we asked, they said, “They don’t have the part.” It felt like the owner couldn’t get things sorted out. The hotel looked clean from the outside, probably because it’s new, but our room wasn’t properly cleaned. Towels, blankets, and other things from previous guests were stuffed in the closet; the toilet and sink were dirty, and the windows were filthy. Sorry to be graphic, but there were traces of poop in the toilet bowl. There were other hygiene problems too, including towels by the trash and on the floor in the downstairs hallway.

The beach was so close that getting to the sea was easy, and I really enjoyed the view of it from my room. The bed was comfortable, and the room was modern, clean, and comfortable overall. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I had a fantastic stay last summer and would love to return.
