The location worked really well for us, close to the city center and the beach, and the snack bar by the pool had lots of drink choices. Even picky eaters should find plenty of food options. The swimming pool made for a great time for both us and the kids, and the comfortable, very clean rooms were thoughtfully set up for a family. Mr. Eyüp and his wife Mrs. Songül, who run Aksel Butik Otel, were the most hospitable people I’ve ever met. They were always around at breakfast and dinner, checking that guests had what they needed and more. The staff were attentive and kind, always asking if we needed anything and smiling. It’s an excellent family choice. We’ll definitely be back for another relaxing, stress-free and enjoyable holiday.

Mr Eyup, his wife and the staff were so welcoming, helpful, hospitable and friendly that I’d happily recommend Aksel. Butik Otel to anyone planning a holiday in Didim, Turkey. It’s in a peaceful spot with a fabulous indoor pool, and the beach, shops, restaurants are only about a 5 minutes walk away. Buses also run outside the hotel if you want to go into town. This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in.

It’s peaceful here, so it’s easy to relax during the day and sleep well at night, yet town is only a few minutes away on foot. The pool area is great, with no trouble finding a bed or umbrella. Our room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the towels and bedding always smelled lovely. The owner and staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. This place is well worth a visit, and we’ll definitely be back.

The pool is lovely, and the owner and manager are incredible. They’re very friendly, always ready to help, and go the extra mile to look after you. I’d highly recommend the hotel, and I know I’ll be back.
