Altinersan Altinkum Didim Hotel

The maids and the women at the bar, who gave us drinks and food, were the reason I stayed. But I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. We were there for 2 weeks and had been told the aircon was £50 pound per week. When we arrived at 2, 3 in the morning, the price had gone up from £50 to £70 pound, so we said no. One of the staff took it personally. After that, the boys in hotel charge us more for water, juice and beer, while the women charged the right amount. The manager really needs to speak to his male staff because they weren’t very welcoming. In all my years travelling, this was the first hotel that didn’t welcome me or help with my bags. Give it a miss.

I’ve stayed at 4 different hotels in Altinkum, and this is the only one I’d return to. The room was clean and tidy, and it was a bonus having a kettle and a "silent" fridge. There’s a great pool area, the staff are friendly, and the beach, shopping and bars are 5 mins away. I had no issues during my stay. It ticked all the boxes for me.

The rooms are clean, though they could do with an update, with things like mismatched curtains. They come with a small fridge, kettle, small TV and hairdryer, and the air con is very good, a must in the hotter months. Staff are all helpful, and the hotel is in a really good, central location. I’d definitely stay here again.

The pool area was excellent and we never had trouble getting a sunbed. Staff were all really friendly and helpful, and the rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh bedding and towels most days. It’s a lovely family-run hotel close to the bars, restaurants, shops and beach. Breakfast has a good selection, mainly salad, meat, cheese, boiled eggs and bread, with a toaster, tea and coffee, and juice readily available.
