Horizon

The hotel is in a great location, but the rooms are tiny and the air conditioning feels like a rip off. Everything is overpriced. When I arrived, the fridge was broken. Reception said the maintenance person was off for two days and nothing could be done, but there was a 24-hour bar if I wanted a cold drink. With temperatures over 40 degrees outside, I thought that was appalling. The fridge never got fixed during my week there. I wouldn’t return.

You’re right in the middle of everything, which is an excellent location, but the rooms are tiny with hardly any space, even though they’re being upgraded. Air conditioning cost £125 for 10 days, and the safe cost the same. I found the management team extremely greedy. We bought a fan and it was confiscated, then management wouldn’t speak to us for the rest of the holiday. The manager who looks like Gok Wan was the rudest I’ve come across. Breakfast was dry and curled, and nothing was replenished during the two hours it was open. The orange juice was cordial and also wasn’t replenished. I’d pay a little more for a better hotel and pleasant service.

There was nothing positive about this awful hotel. The owners were terrible, and this was the worst holiday we’ve ever had because of the hotel and its owners. I hardly ever write reviews, but I felt I had to in case it saves even one person from booking. I wish I’d read reviews before I booked. I assumed Jet2 was a big enough company to trust, but I was wrong. Save your money, your time, and your family’s happiness. Don’t go to efe horizon hotel. I wish there were a rating below one star.

The staff were lovely, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your holiday. It’s a bed and breakfast place, but there’s also a snack menu for after breakfast. This is by far the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The floors were so clean you could eat your food off any part of them, even the veranda. Highly recommended.
