Hotel Saadet

The pool was one of the best parts of our stay as a couple: peaceful, spotless and just right for unwinding after a day out exploring. We also liked the easygoing feel of this charming family-run hotel. They looked after us without hovering. The rooms have a slightly traditional style, but they were clean and comfortable, and the price was excellent value. The hotel had everything we needed for the relaxed, stress-free break we wanted. We'd happily return. Thanks to the staff and management for a wonderful holiday.

The owner knows the local area well and is very friendly. The outside bar serves food and drinks by the pool, which is cleaned every day. Our economy room was cleaned well daily too, like the rest of the hotel, and everything was well organised. Breakfast was a Turkish buffet with plenty available throughout the serving period. There's cereal as well if the rest of the spread doesn't suit you. Air conditioning costs extra per day, but I didn't need it. Opening the window and balcony door cooled the room down later in the evening.

I was travelling on my own and had a fantastic stay. The family-run hotel has a warm, friendly feel, and I felt looked after without anyone intruding. The pool was a peaceful, clean place to relax after exploring. There were all the amenities I needed. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable, and the price is good value. It was the low-key, stress-free break I wanted, and I'd absolutely come back.

I booked my Turkey trip at the last minute, and picked the Saadet after reading the reviews. It worked out well for what I needed: the people were very friendly, and I felt safe and comfortable. The pool water was crystal clear, the rooms spotless, and the burgers and fries were lovely. It's perfectly placed for walking to the beach and the strip, with just a short taxi ride to the evening market.
