We mostly used the hotel as a base since we were out exploring so much, but the time we spent around the pool was really enjoyable, with a lovely atmosphere. It’s a fantastic place to stay, and we’re already planning to come back next year.

Didim didn’t offer much to do for us, with lots of similar shops selling copied products and plenty of bars and restaurants that felt alike. The apartments themselves were very basic, not especially clean or well maintained, and had almost no facilities beyond a small pool and a bar with a poor selection. Air conditioning was very expensive and didn’t work well, and hiring a fan cost a lot too, about £5 a day. There’s also a huge hotel being built right outside. We definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

The best part was the day we left. The place is really dated, with badly stained towels and sheets, holes in the bedding, and damp all over the walls. It was so noisy, and we couldn’t get sunbeds because other guests left their towels on them all day and night. I honestly don’t know where the three stars came from. I wouldn’t give it even one.

The staff were lovely, and the location worked well for us. If you want more nightlife, it’s only a short walk or taxi ride away. I’d definitely stay again. There are no lifts, though, so anyone with mobility problems may want to ask for a lower floor.

My grandchildren can relax and play here, and I feel they’re very safe. The snack bar has great meals for kids, so when they’re happy, grandma’s happy too. We’re treated like family. This was our fourth year coming to the tuntas, and I’ve already booked again for next year. Thanks for two great weeks.
