Lagom Otel

It’s handy for a drive toward Istanbul or the coast, with the hotel close to the highway. For exploring Edirne and the surrounding area, though, I’d rate the location below five stars.

Olga deserves a special thank you for being so kind and providing such good service. The staff were accommodating throughout, and the facilities were very clean and pleasant. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

Our car gave us trouble during the trip, and Mr. Gorkem, the manager, and his team helped us sort everything out. I’m grateful to him and would happily return with family or friends. The hotel itself has large, very clean rooms and a high standard of service. Edirne is worth a city break too, with plenty to see.

The only real drawback was how much noise came through the walls. We could hear the neighbors talking, and they returned late, which made it hard to get the good sleep we needed during our short stop. The rest worked well for a road trip: the hotel is new, clean, easy to reach from the Edirne highway, and well placed if you don’t want to drive into the center. The reception staff were lovely when we arrived late. Müzeggen and her colleague helped us order a little food and arranged an early breakfast before our morning checkout. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly.
