Ramada Resort by Wyndham Kazdaglari Thermal and Spa

Everyone was kind and helpful, from the welcome team through to the spa. The spa was clean and had good equipment. I really appreciated the experience 🫶🏻 P.S. lots of hugs to sumira

The meals were barely edible, either tasteless or too oily, and there was no vegetarian main course. Breakfast was poor by both Turkish and continental standards. Even though it was an open buffet breakfast, fresh juice cost extra. Tea time was a mess: the pastries were poor quality and, once they ran out after 20 minutes, nothing was brought out to replace them. Dinner at the open buffet was chaotic. They said there was no minibar or complimentary tea and coffee in the room because of pandemic reasons, yet meal service was a complete disaster. Most of the staff were friendly, but didn’t seem qualified to provide good customer service. The hotel looks nice from outside, while the rooms and common areas lack any refined taste and badly need renovation. Nothing about the experience met 5-star standards. It shouldn’t have the Ramada name or five stars. Don’t waste your money here.

At checkout, they kept our passports. We didn’t need them straight away because of our next hotel, but the staff claimed they had tried to reach us by email or phone, which wasn’t true, and it got us into serious trouble. The service was unfriendly, and the receptionist lied about offering us a cheaper room or one night, then later denied ever saying it. Next time, I’d record everything. We’d booked the largest room with a jacuzzi specifically for that feature, but it was broken and they still charged us the same price. The Wi-Fi wasn’t good. Breakfast was good, but lunch and dinner were horrible, just reheated food. All unfriendly liars.

On our last night, some guests were jumping into the pool, shouting, laughing, and drinking at 1 in the morning. The noise woke us up. I asked the receptionist to tell them to stop, since this wasn’t normal, and he said he would, but did nothing. At 2:30 AM I went with someone who speaks Turkish and insisted they stop or that the police be called. After a lot of discussion, the receptionist finally called them. We only managed to sleep at 4 AM. It was a horrible stay, and the staff were as bad as possible. This was the only hotel I’ve stayed at where the staff seemed not to care about guests. It was my first and last time there. I’d avoid a hotel that can’t ensure your safety.
