The balcony view was the highlight of my one-night stay in May 2024. We slept really well, and the room was OK for a budget hotel. Still, the shower cubicle needs replacing, and the place could use a proper refurbishment and deep clean. The breakfast restaurant looked very tired and needed cleaning too. We couldn’t use the AC because it smelled awful when we switched it on.

We come back here often. It’s reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. The views of the castle are fantastic.

We left some things in the room after our stay, and the manager mailed them back to us. The service was good, our room was clean and nice, and the pricing was flexible. We didn’t try the restaurant.
