The staff were generally friendly and helpful, though English wasn’t easy for all of them, so Google Translate came in handy. The building and interiors feel a bit old-fashioned, which I secretly like, and it’s mostly well maintained, though the cleaning could be better. There wasn’t any practical information in the room, not even what to do in an emergency or the meal and pool hours. Breakfast is served daily, weekends included, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Dinner is roughly 19:00 to 22:00, but outside those hours you can still get something like a sandwich or hamburger with fries. Room service is supposedly available 24/7, though I didn’t need it. The outdoor pool is open 10:00 to 18:00. I think guests are asked to leave around 17:15, but the announcement is only in Turkish over a speaker by the pool. The music from that speaker is far too loud for the rest of the day, in my opinion. The indoor pool runs from 10:00 to 22:00, with access for women only on Monday and Thursday evenings from 18:00 to 19:30. The outdoor slides seem to be switched on about four times a day for an hour each time. Laundry handed in at reception in the morning was back in my room by afternoon. It worked well enough to freshen up everyday clothes, but didn’t do as well on work clothes with oil or grease stains. Wedding parties are held here fairly often, especially Friday and Saturday evenings. They regularly use the area around the outdoor pool, which then isn’t available, though the indoor pool remains open. The parties usually run until about 23:00, sometimes peaking at 23:30. Those evenings can be a good excuse to explore the center of Eregli. The front desk can usually arrange a taxi to the center quickly. The trip is about 4.5 km / 3 miles and costs roughly 25TL. Coming back can be up to about 30TL depending on the time, particularly at weekends.

I’m staying here for the third time because I like the rooms, breakfast, and service. For a business trip where you want things to feel easy and relaxed, I’d choose this hotel. There’s no iron in the room, but they can take your clothes and iron them for a small fee.

The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, with a sauna, pool, restaurant, and massage area. The restaurant is especially good for dinner, though the meat tends to come out well done. The waiters’ service was impeccable, and the laundry was notably cheap, fair, and fast.

Breakfast is included, and there’s a pool and hamam at this clean hotel. The wifi didn’t work, but that wasn’t a problem for me. Buses stop right outside, so it’s easy to get around. I’d recommend it.
